Chart Types

We support a range of different chart types so data can be displayed in a meaningful way.

Area charts

Sometimes referred to as a filled line or surface graph. It is ideal for adding emphasis to a dataset by virtue of shading or color.

Bar

Ideal for displaying values by category. The width of the bar is proportional to the value it represents.

Bubble

Bubble charts are a basic way to display the relationships between three variables.

Column

Ideal for displaying values by category or change over time of a single dataset. The length of the column is proportional to the value it represents.

Heatmap

Heatmaps are ideal for visualizing the relationships between two or more datasets using coloring and position in a matrix.

Line Charts

Ideal for displaying quantitative data series over continuous intervals or a period of time.

Pie

Pie charts are ideal for comparing part-to-whole and display the data in a circular format.

Scatterplot

Ideal for displaying the share breakdown of the total value over continuous intervals or a period of time. For percentage share use Stacked Area Chart (100%).

Stock Charts

Ideal for displaying high-volume quantitative data series with additional features for navigation and annotations.

Treemap

A treemap is used to visualize quantitative data as part-to-whole in a hierarchical way and is composed of nested rectangles.
